I was born in Newburgh, New York before my twin bro and sis came along 3 1/2 years later. I was the model child :)...uhhh...stop laughing please..geesh!! Well anyway....my childhood was pretty much uneventful (ie. I survived it). After high school I attended college at Mount Saint Mary and earned a bachelor's degree in Nursing. Got married..lived in Georgia, Virginia, and now Minnesota, where I am a 42 (shhh....don't tell anyone..if you do, I'll deny it :P) year-old mom.

I'm the mother of a way cool 17 year-old young man who is my pride and joy (see Tristan's page). As a RN I've worked in Med-Surg, spinal-cord rehab, and in geriatrics. After taking a long break to be full-time mom, I re-entered the field again. I now am a nursing supervisor working in a family practice clinic.

What else about me?? Well, I love music (Dave Matthews Band and other alternative/rock music...Nickelback, EverClear, FooFighters, Jet, Collective Soul, etc., plus some old Phil Collins and Genesis), the beach, fishing, computers and web page design, chat, soccer, the Minnesota Wild hockey, movies, long walks, science fiction (mostly Star Trek and Star Wars), anything my son is into, and life in general. I'm married to Hockeyguy (check out his homepage too), and as you might have guessed, I've taken a real interest in the sport of hockey due to my husband! Had season tickets to the MN Blue Ox roller hockey team a few years back, and the games were a blast!!! Have had Wild season tickets every single year!!! GO WILD!!!

What else??? Well over the years I have been a volunteer for Cansurmount (American Cancer Society), Awana Clubs, and for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Even helped out a little with Jesse Ventura's campaign for Governor of Minnesota.

Huh? More? Well I think I have too many freckles, tend to ramble on too much sometimes, and I sometimes snort when I laugh. My worst character flaw is that it takes me forever to tell a story. I can proudly say I am a 16 year survivor of ovarian cancer, and my experiences have taught me how to better appreciate life. I tend to cry at those mushy Hallmark Cards and AT&T commercials. I respect, above all, honesty and integrity in a person. I blush wayyyyyy too much. Hmmm...I think I have feet like Fred Flinstone. Hehe. I think I have a pretty good sense of humor...I love to laugh, and make others laugh.
